This policy explains what information www.gotgrit.com collects, why, and what we do with it. GotGrit is run by Molten Tech, LLC.

Who we are

The site is hosted on Flux (https://www.RunOnFlux.com), a decentralized network of independent servers, and traffic passes through Cloudflare.

What we collect

  • Orders: your name, email, phone number, shipping and billing addresses, and what you bought. We need these to ship your order and keep our books.
  • Accounts: if you create an account, your name, email, password (stored encrypted; we cannot read it), saved addresses and order history.
  • Contact form: your name, email and message.
  • Server logs: like any website, our servers record IP addresses and browser details for security and troubleshooting.

We do not see or store your card number. Card payments are handled by Stripe.

Who we share it with

Only the services needed to run the shop, and only what each one needs:

  • Stripe — card payments (stripe.com/privacy).
  • EasyPost and USPS — your shipping address and phone number to buy the shipping label and deliver your order.
  • Resend — sends our order, shipping and account emails.
  • Cloudflare — delivers the site and runs a bot check (Turnstile) on sign-up, checkout and the contact form.

We never sell or rent your information, and we do not use advertising or tracking services.

Cookies

We use only the cookies the shop needs to work: one to keep your cart, one to keep you signed in, and a few small ones for site settings. There are no advertising or analytics cookies. Cloudflare may set its own cookie for security.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. Account information is kept until you ask us to delete your account. Server logs are kept for a short time.

Your choices

You can see and update your account details and addresses at any time under My Account. To get a copy of your information, or to have your account deleted, email [email protected]. We will delete everything except records we must keep for tax, accounting or legal reasons.

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page.
